I got into opera the long way. I was 8 when I knew that I wanted to be a pediatrician. After a year of premed Biology I realized that I loved science but I didn’t love medical school or medical politics. It took me another 3+ years to realize I did love opera school and opera politics. Maybe it’s the drama of it all. Maybe it’s just that I truly am meant to sing.
